Get ready to collect beads from Kinky on Friday, February 1st when he rides in the Krewe Babalu "All Krewe Parade"! The parade begins at 8:00 PM at 26th and Santa Fe Place in Galveston and continues to the Strand.  For more information, visit:  

Following the All Krewe Parade, Kinky will join Krewe Babalu and guests for a Mardi Gras Balcony Party! The Mardi Gras celebration continues with Kinky Friedman at The Lounge on Saturday, February 2! This party gets started outside The Lounge at 4:00 PM when Kinky arrives. He'll meet the crowd of Mardi Gras revelers in the late afternoon before the Grand Night Parade.  While Kinky's at The Lounge (4 - 6 pm) there will be a wide variety of Kinky merchandise available for purchase and autographing including, cigars, books, posters and much more.   His new Kinky Friedman Cigar Company will be showcasing the five new styles: The Governor, Kinkycristo, Texas Jewboy, Utopian and The Willie.  All are made of beautiful hand rolled Habana wrappers grown in Honduras with a blended filler of Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos and Costa Rican binders.   The Lounge is located at 2410 Strand St.
