Celebrate Austin’s unofficial kickoff of the holiday season at The Junior League of Austin’s A Christmas affair – The Gift of the Magi with a book signing by Kinky Friedman. Kinky will be meeting guests and signing copies of his latest book, You Can Lead a Politician to Water, But You Can’t Make Him Think. Held at Palmer Events Center, this event is one of the Jr. Leagues most successful charitable fundraisers of the year. The signing will take place by the main tree in the center of the festivities; the tickets are $10/day or $18/2 days.
